You don’t have to get married to enjoy Traditional Mexican Wedding Cookies, although you may find yourself committing to making these cookies over and over again! These cookies resemble sweet snowballs that positively melt in your mouth but with a hearty crunch from the chopped walnuts. Traditional Mexican Wedding Cookies need 20 minutes or less to make, so they can be made in a hurry whether you have a special occasion or a ravenous sweet tooth.


Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter • 1/2 cup sugar • 1 teaspoon vanilla • 2 cups flour • 1 cup walnuts, chopped • powdered sugar, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3

Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla.

Step 4

Add the flour and chopped nuts.

Step 5

Roll golf ball-sized balls of the dough in your hand.
