• 12 ounces medium pasta, such as penne • 1/2 pound Italian sausage or lean ground beef • 1 medium onion, diced • 3 cloves garlic, minced • 1 cup vegetable pizza toppings, uncooked, optional, of your choice • salt, to taste • pepper, to taste • 1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained • 1 teaspoon oregano • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning • 14 ounces pizza sauce • 2 cups marinara sauce • 1 cup cooked pizza ingredients, optional, of your choice • 3 cups mozzarella and cheddar blend, shredded • 1 cup pepperoni slices • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shreddedDirections
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
Cook the pasta to al dente, according to package directions.
Drain the pasta and set it aside.
In a large skillet on the stovetop over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage and onions, about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
