Ingredients• 1 pound of ground beef • 2 (14.5-ounce) cans of stewed tomatoes • 1/4 cup dried onion, minced • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 teaspoon chili powder • 1/4 teaspoon pepper, plus more to taste • 1/4 teaspoon sugar • 1 cup elbow macaroni
In a large skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
Drain the fat from the skillet.
Add the tomatoes, dried onions, salt, chili powder, pepper, and sugar.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in the macaroni.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Uncover and simmer until the macaroni is tender and the sauce is thickened, for about 3-4 minutes.
