• 6 chicken drumsticks • 1/2 cup water • 1/3 cup ketchup • 1/3 cup white vinegar • 1/4 cup brown sugar • 4 teaspoons butter • 2 teaspoons salt • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce • 2 teaspoons dry mustard • 2 teaspoons chili powder

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2

Put the drumsticks into an oven-safe glass dish large enough that they can fit in a single layer.

Step 3

Mix the water, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, butter, salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and chili powder all together in a bowl.

Step 4

Pour the mixture over the drumsticks, and cover the dish with foil.

Step 5

Bake the dish in the oven until the chicken is no longer pink at the bone, the juices run clear, and a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part not touching the bone reads 165 degrees F, about 1 hour. Make sure to turn the chicken about halfway through.

Step 6

Take the dish out of the oven, and let it cool for 1-2 minutes.

Step 7

Serve warm.
