• 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar • 1/3 cup honey • 1/4 cup tomato paste • 1/4 cup molasses • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika • 1 teaspoon garlic powder • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground mixed pepper • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt • cayenne, optional, to taste


Step 1

In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine all of the ingredients and whisk vigorously.

Once the contents begin to simmer, reduce the heat to medium-low.

Step 3

Allow the mixture to simmer until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
