Ingredients• 1/2 cup butter • 2 cups vanilla wafers, finely crushed • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk • 1 cup butterscotch-flavored pieces • 1 (6-ounce) package white baking chocolate, chopped • 1 cup dried fruit pieces • 1 1/3 cups shredded coconut • 1 cup unsalted mixed nuts, coarsely chopped
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with foil, with the foil extending over the edges of the pan. This will help with removing the bars from the pan later.
Place the butter in the prepared pan and then place the pan in the oven until the butter melts, for about 5 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven, leaving the oven on, and then coat the bottom of the pan with the melted butter.
Sprinkle in the crushed vanilla wafers.
Drizzle the condensed milk as evenly as possible over the wafers.
Sprinkle the butterscotch-flavored pieces, white chocolate chunks, fruit bits, coconut, and nuts, in that order, one on top of the other in the pan. Make sure to press down the layers lightly as you add them.
Bake until the edges are lightly browned, for about 25 minutes.
Remove the pan and let cool on a wire rack.
Use the foil to lift the dessert out of the pan and cut it into bars.
