• 4 (6 ounce) chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, and halved • 1/3 cup olive oil, plus more for grilling • 1 tablespoon lemon zest • 1/3 cup lemon juice • 4 cloves garlic, minced • 2 teaspoons oregano, dried • 1/2 teaspoon basil, dried • 1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary, dried and crushed • salt, to taste • ground black pepper, to taste • parsley, optional, chopped, for serving


Step 1

Even the thickness of your chicken breasts by pounding the meat using a meat mallet or your hands.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, the lemon zest, lemon juice, the garlic, the oregano, the basil, the thyme, the rosemary, and the salt and pepper.
