Whether you keep gluten-free for your health or due to preference, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a deliciously decadent baked good! Gluten-Free Banana Bread offers slice upon slice of moist, almost cake-like tenderness with a creamy banana flavor. With a touch of cinnamon warmth and chocolate chips, Gluten-Free Banana Bread has all the taste of a gluten-made loaf that anyone can enjoy.

• 4 large ripe bananas, mashed • 2 large eggs • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract • 1/4 cup grass-fed butter, melted and cooled • 1 2/3 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour • 1 teaspoon baking soda • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt • 1/2 cup coconut sugar • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, optional • 2/3 cup chocolate chips, optional

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Line a 9x5-inch baking loaf pan with parchment paper.

Step 3

Mash the bananas in a medium sized mixing bowl.

Step 4

Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and cooled melted butter until well-combined using a whisk.

Step 5

In another mixing bowl, add in the gluten-free flour, the baking soda, sea salt, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and chocolate chips until it is fully combined.

Step 6

Pour the dry mixture into the mixing bowl with the wet ingredients, mixing it until the batter is thoroughly combined. Don’t worry about overmixing.

Step 7

Pour the batter into the parchment lined baking loaf pan, topping the batter with additional chocolate chips.

Step 8

Bake the loaf on the center rack in the oven until the top is golden brown and the loaf has risen considerably, about 40 minutes.

Step 9

Turn off the oven and allow the loaf to sit in the warm oven until the edges crisp slightly, about 5-10 minutes.

Step 10

Take the loaf out of the oven and let it cool for around 30 minutes before slicing it and serving.
