You’ll love sinking your teeth into these sweet, moist, custard-flavored French Toast Muffins! Serve them with maple syrup or powdered sugar for some added sweetness.

For the muffins: • 1 1/2 cups milk • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar • 5 eggs • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon • 6 cups bread, cubed For the topping: • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold • 1/4 cup light brown sugar • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon • salt, to taste • powdered sugar, optional, for serving • maple syrup, optional, for serving

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Grease a cupcake or muffin tin with cooking spray and set it aside.
