• 4 (12 ounces) salmon steaks • kosher salt, to taste • ground black pepper, to taste • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil • 2 tablespoons butter • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 1 lemon, juiced • 2 tablespoons honey • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed • rosemary, to taste, chopped, for serving


Step 1

Season the salmon on both sides with salt and pepper.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil and butter.

Step 3

Add the salmon and cook it until the bottom is golden, about 5 minutes.

Flip the salmon.

Step 5

Add the garlic, lemon juice, honey, and red pepper flakes.

Step 6

Cook until the salmon is cooked through at 145 degrees F, spooning the sauce over the salmon as it cooks, about 5 minutes.

Step 7

Remove the salmon from the pan and garnish it with the rosemary before serving.
