Ingredients• 4 cups penne pasta • 1 pound ground beef • 1/2 green pepper, chopped • 1 (23.5 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce • 2 eggs • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 9x13-inch oven-safe baking dish.
Boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Cook the beef and green peppers together over medium-high heat in a large-sized pan, making sure to only stop cooking when the meat is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Drain the pan of fat and set the beef mixture aside.
When the pasta is finished cooking, drain the noodles and put them in a large mixing bowl.
Stir in the beef mixture, spaghetti sauce, eggs, and 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Move the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
Top the bake with the remaining cheese. Bake the dish uncovered for about 30 minutes.
Serve the dish warm.
