• 1 tablespoon olive oil • 1 pound lean ground beef • 1 teaspoon kosher salt • 1 teaspoon garlic powder • 1 teaspoon onion powder • 2 cups beef broth • 8 ounces dried pasta shells • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce • 8 ounces sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half


Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
