For the biscuits: • 2 cups all-purpose flour • 1 tablespoon baking powder • 1 tablespoon sugar • 1 tablespoon garlic powder • 3/4 teaspoon salt • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper • 1 teaspoon dried parsley • 1/2 cup butter unsalted, melted • 1 cup buttermilk • 8 ounces cheddar cheese shredded For topping: • 1/4 cup buttermilk • 1 teaspoon dried parsley • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Step 1

Set your oven to 450 degrees F.

Step 2

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set it aside.

Step 3

Using a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, salt, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and dried parsley using a whisk.

Then brush the top biscuits with the 1/4 cup of buttermilk and then sprinkle it with the paprika and dried parsley.

Step 9

Bake the biscuits for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
