• 1 pound ground beef, 90% lean • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon pepper • 1/2 cup reduced-fat ranch salad dressing • 2 tablespoons ketchup • 4 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded • 4 cups romaine, chopped • 1 medium cucumber, finely chopped • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded • potato chips, optional, to taste, crushedDirections
Step 1
In a small bowl, combine the beef, salt, and pepper, mixing lightly but thoroughly.

Shape the seasoned beef into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.
