Ingredients• 2 apples, halved • 2 tablespoons butter, melted • 3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar, plus more to taste • 1/4 cup water • 16 caramel candies • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Using a melon baller, core the apples.
Place the cored apples in a shallow baking dish.
Brush each apple with the melted butter and sprinkle each apple with the cinnamon sugar.
Pour the water into the baking dish.
Place the baking dish in the oven for 20 minutes.
Remove the apples from the oven and add 3-4 caramels to the well in each apple.
Bake until the caramel is melted, about 15 more minutes.
Drizzle the apples with the chocolate and sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.
