Summer and fall meet in this refreshing cocktail. The Apple Cider Mule combines the elements of a traditional Moscow Mule, like vodka and ginger beer, with autumn flavors like apple and cinnamon. Serve Apple Cider Mule in a copper mug as it is traditionally to keep it nice and cold. Cheers to the changing seasons!


• ice, enough to fill 2 copper mugs • 4 ounces vodka • sparkling cider, enough to fill 2 copper mugs • ginger beer, for topping • cinnamon sticks, optional, for garnish • sliced apple, optional, for garnish


Step 1

To begin, fill 2 copper mugs with ice.

Step 2

Pour 2 ounces of the vodka into each cup.

Step 3

Fill the cup 2/3 full with the sparkling cider.

Step 4

Top with the ginger beer.

Step 5

Garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple slice.

Step 6
