Ingredients• 3-4 lbs boneless chuck roast • Salt and pepper • 2 tablespoons olive oil • 1 can beef consommé • 1 can beef broth • 1 onion sliced • 1 tablespoon soy sauce • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce • 4-5 hoagie rolls • 8 slices mozzarella cheese
Seasoning each side of the chuck roast, use salt and pepper. In a large pan add in the oil and turn the heat on to medium-high. Then, sear the sides of your roast for around 3 to 4 minutes, or until it has a golden-brown crust.
Then, put the chuck roast into your slow cooker. Next, add in the beef consommé, beef broth, soy sauce, onion, and your worcestershire sauce.
Cook the meal on low heat for approximately 8 to 10 hours or on high for around 5 to 7 hours. Move the roast from the cooker, shredding it with a fork. Then place on the hoagies with a slice of cheese. Finally, broil the tops in the oven. This will melt the cheese.
